Your wedding day is a very special day for everyone, because of all the wonderful and memorable things that happen. Planning your wedding is an exciting time for all to share... choosing the ring and beautiful dresses, plus preparing guest and present lists.
First Steps
The first thing to plan is the budget with respective parents, talking between yourselves about the type of service you would like, be it in a church, registry office or hotel civil ceremony.
Once decided, contact your Vicar or Registrar and make the arrangements for your marriage ceremony. They will be of great help, explaining all you need to know. If you wish, rehearsals can be arranged to set you at ease and assure you that all will be perfect on your wedding day. Take the opportunity, if necessary, to apply for a marriage license.
Book your Reception
When you have the date in mind, arrange and book your reception. We will be more than happy to offer you any professional advice on menus, styles of seating arrangements and anything else you may be unsure of.
As you have probably agreed who to invite, make a checklist recording numbers.
Bridesmaids and Best Man
It is now a good time to choose the bridesmaids, best man and ushers. Once decided, you can start discussing the details and shopping with them. This is especially exciting for the bride and bridesmaids, choosing from the many beautiful dresses and fabrics available. The bridegroom and best man should discuss their attire too, Top hat and tails or tailored suits.
